Atlas LAL Display

1. The configuration of PC under Linux (Fedora) so that it can work in a kiosk mode.
2. The presentation JSP Web Service, hosted at CERN. This Web Service is visible from any Web Browser under the address http://cern.ch/test-atlas-lal-display. Its parameters can be managed remotely, over the Web.
3. The Atlantis Event Display in a Demo mode, connected to the direct source of Atlas events.

How to configure

• Add user display.
• Use KDE.
• Autohide KDE panel.
• Remove decorations from Konqueror.
• Select appropriate .Atlantis-config.xml.
• Disable screesaver and power management.
• Set autologin for display:

  # add to /etc/gdm/custom.conf
  [daemon]
  AutomaticLoginEnable=true
  AutomaticLogin=display`
  

• Set Startup Application ~/bin/show.sh
• Install show.sh and kall into ~/bin.
• Install full Java into /opt/jdk.
• Install Atlantis into ~/work.
