Object Oriented Tracking Software for the ATLAS Experiment
Trees
We need to provide access to:
the geometrical information of the different detector parts,
the data per subdetector for each event,
the tracker hits by grouping them:
in radius (
SUPER_LAYER
),
along z (
TRACKER_MEDIA
),
and in phi (
CLUSTER
).
TREE
enables:
navigating through and testing whether each
node
is inside a
road
,
selecting and splitting off sub-trees of interest,
having different reconstruction schemas working in parallel.
